James Chance, Arkansas, Rough Trade and a lung on a plate
A big thanks to all of you who came out to the Metro last week. We had a blast at the show, hope you did too. We will once again be rocking Chicago Saturday, April 8 with JAMES FUCKING CHANCE at The Double Door. I'm guessing that you won't want to miss that one.
I figure you've all heard the news that South By Southwest is SOOOO last year, and that Austin is pretty much good for nothing unless you're Paris Hilton or Andy Dick. Where it's really at is Hot Springs Arkansas, home of the Valley Of The Vapors Festival. We'll be playing Wednesday, April 16th with The Paper Chase and Tight Phantoms. Later that night, you can catch Hanalei and Nora O'Connor. Be there or be square.
We are pretty stoked that Rough Trade Records has chosen our ode to infidelity, "Hot Box" To appear on their "Counter Culture 2004" compilation, alongside tracks from Sonic Youth, Liars and Le Tigre (to name a few). If you wanna copy, you can preorder one here
